At first I thought it was a joke when I saw Tom's article about the Asterisk USB hub, but nonetheless it is a reality.

So, it's a REAL must-have for every true Asterisk fan. I myself never had the need to use a USB hub lately but it is useful if you find youself with all kind of USB gadgets you want to plug at once.

miscellaneous 3Skype is not MVoIP

Only yesterday I covered a material concerning the new 3 Skypephone. Today I read that the 3Skype service actually isn't 3G VoIP (Voice over IP) service. Mobile calls on the 3Skypephone are, de facto, GSM phone calls.

Excerpt:
The service will use the GSM network to connect with a sever run by iSkoot, which then carries the call over the fixed line internet to Skype. The data connection is only used to show the presence of the Skype buddies.
